SEPTIMUS bumped into BOONESBAKKENTOWN leaving the chute, showed the way in the far turn, was kept under handling and held safely. CELOSIA tracked the pace inside, shifted out five wide leaving the backstretch, closed steadily late stretch but was unable to reach the winner. DR BROKER raced from second flight while six wide, and lodged a mild bid late. INCREDIBLE BUDDY broke outward, then was shuffled back in the chute, lodged a mild bid nearing the quarter pole then flattened out. NINEOCLOCKSOMEWHER never reached contention. BOONESBAKKENTOWN bumped hard leaving the chute, causing the rider to lose his stirrup and be very wide entering the backstretch, sat just off the pace while four to five wide, tired into the final turn and was eased in the stretch. JOCKEY OBJECTION- An objection was lodged by the rider of BOONESBAKKENTOWN against the rider of SEPTIMUS alleging interference leaving the chute. After the Board of Stewards reviewed the film, the objection was disallowed.
