A LISTED HANDICAP STAKE FOR THREE-YEAR-OLDS AND UPWARD. A fee of $100 required to nominate. A payment of $1,000 is required to pass the entry box and an additional $900 is required to start. The purse will be divided $45,000 to the owner of the winner, $ 15,000 to the second place finisher, $7,500 to the third place finisher, $3,750 to the fourth place finisher and $1,500 to the fifth place finisher. A payment of $500 will be paid to all horses who start and finish 6th or worse. High weights preferred. S tarters to be named through the entry box by the closing time of entries. The field will be limited to 10 starters. A trophy will be presented to the winning owner.

SUNBIRD took back entering the first turn, tracked in striking range three wide, advanced patiently while awaiting racing room, shot through along the inside when a seam opened, and was kept under a brisk hand ride. FIREMAN DAN saved ground early while four wide, advanced outside quickly entering the final turn, rallied four wide into the stretch but needed more late. LUCKY FORCE unhurried early, advanced outside in the final turn, and finished with good energy. ABELIEFINTHISLIVIN saved ground, circled wide in the final turn, and closed gradually. RAINBOW'S PRIDE vied between foes for the early lead, then took back then shifted out three wide, inherited the lead then was soon under attack entering the stretch and gave way grudgingly. CRUSHER ROYALE was four wide into the opening turn, gained closer order leaving the backstretch, was asked to quicken nearing the quarter pole, rallied three wide and gave way in the stretch. STONEVICIOUS vied inside for the early lead, was unable to keep pace with the field and faded gradually. STORMY BLUE pressed the pace while three wide, gained a short advantage in the backstretch, and stopped.
