WHY NOTS A WYNNER contended the pace inside of THRILL OF THE NITE under a snug hold, disposed of rival nearing the quarter pole, drew clear and held under a late closing H K MIMI. H K MIMI was allowed to settle early, gained closer order nearing the quarter pole, lost path at the head of the stretch, closed determinedly and just missed after a game late effort. NOVEL saved inside early, chased into the stretch, and evened out late. STARFALL was steadied in traffic leaving the chute, trailed and bid belatedly. THRILL OF THE NITE angled inside leaving the chute, dueled of the lead, was unable to move on with WHY NOTS A WYNNER, and flattened out. LIGHT FAST FEET brushed the gate leaving, sat in range while four wide, and lacked a closing response. DIPLOMATICA was last away then was wide in the backstretch, and lacked a bid. WHERE'S THE PUMPS hustled away, then experienced traffic entering the backstretch, chased three wide into the far turn, and had nothing left in reserve late. COUNT ON IT lacked running room leaving the chute and tired early.
