PERDITION drove five wide into the final turn, rallied gamely outside and prevailed under a drive. NICE GUY EDDIE chased hard outside, and was outfinished in the stretch. SPORTSCARR unhurried early, rallied outside, dug in late to earn show. PUMP THE BRAKES bumped sideways leaving the gate, and bid belatedly. ISLE OF SKYE rallied late along the rail and missed. FIRECRACKER STAND sped to the lead, responded to a challenge from BON PRIX, dueled into the stretch and was rundown. BON PRIX pressed the early pace, dueled into the stretch and gave way. HE'S A SAINT trailed and lacked running room late. MENDELJOHN (IRE) broke outward into PUMP THE BRAKES then clipped heels losing the rider, did not finish and walked off. STEWARDS INQUIRY- An inquiry was conducted into the start of the race involving MEDELJOHN, after review there was no change made.
