INDIO MARA quickly went to the front, repelled LONGNECK s challenge, then drifted out under left-handed urging and bumped NORTHERN FORCE repeatedly before narrowly prevailing. NORTHERN FORCE was allowed to settle off the pace while four to five wide, angled out to the middle of the track, was bumped repeatedly by INDIO MARA late stretch and lost the nod. LONGNECK broke outward into QUINTO SOL, stalked the pace while two to three wide, and yielded mid-stretch. QUINTO SOL squeezed out away from the gate, trailed the field, bid five wide and evened out. LAHUN stalked the pace while four wide, and failed to threaten. JOCKEY AND TRAINER OBJECTION- An objection was lodged by the rider and trainer of NORTHERN FORCE against the rider of INDIO MARA alleging interference late stretch. After review by the Stewards, INDIO MARA was disqualified and placed second for interference to NORTHERN FORCE. TRAINER OBJECTION-An objection was lodged by the trainer of QUINTO SOL against the rider of LONGNECK alleging interference away from the gate. After review by the Stewards, LONGNECK was disqualified and placed fourth for interference to QUINTO SOL.
