METAPHOR showed early speed, matched strides outside of MR MIEZIE through the turn, disposed of rival and drew clear under handling. RIVER SEVEN rated well off the duelling pacesetters, took closer order nearing the quarter pole, moved up menacingly but was unable to reach the eventual winner. PRIMAL SPARK FORCE saved ground along the rail, and lacked the rally needed late in the stretch. TOPPWAY lodged a late bid. SKY MUSIC chased and lugged in while remaining on the same lead. MR MIEZIE contested the early pace inside of METAPHOR, was unable to move on with the eventual winner and was done early. LENNYS ON TIME hesitated at the start, and was outrun. STEWARDS INQUIRY- An inquiry was conducted into the start of the race involving LENNYS ON TIME. After review of the film, LENNYS ON TIME was deemed to have had a fair start.
