MOUNT ASGARD sat midpack while three wide, swung five wide at the quarter pole, and won driving outside. PUMP THE BRAKES vied inside early then shifted out two wide, swept the lead in the final turn, and was outkicked. MENDELJOHN (IRE) unhurried early, surged inside midstretch and was outfinished. PERDITION settled in striking distance while three wide, lodged a rail bid into the stretch then gave way in the later stages. PICAHOUSE broke outward into LAHUN, vied hard outside, held a short advantage into the far turn, was overtaken and came up empty in the stretch. FRIDAYNIGHTSOLDIER bumped leaving the gate, settled five wide in the backstretch, and showed some interest late. HE'S A SAINT was bumped at the start, and lacked a serious bid. LAHUN jostled leaving the gate, tracked five wide, and failed to threaten. AMEER bumped leaving, and was unable to recovery from the start.
