Footnotes
JAVIER was in close quarters along the rail in the backstretch, angled out in the far turn, roused along the rail approaching the stretch, rallied through the stretch and prevailed under a drive. KING ELVIS set the early pace while three wide, rallied between foes at the head of the stretch, gave a last final surge and missed after a game effort. HANK OLLIE hurried inside then was outsprinted to the turn, gained a slim advantage entering the stretch, and was outfinished. BAR DOWN EXPRESS stalked the pace while four wide, and lacked the kick that was needed. MR. WHO was outrun. TRAINER OBJECTION- An objection was lodged by the trainer of HANK OLLIE against the rider of KING ELVIS, alleging interference in the far turn. After review by the Board of Stewards, the objection was disallowed and no change was made.
