KANGAROO COAST saved ground while showing the way, refused the bid from JUMP THE QUEUE, and edged clear. CURLIN ROCKS stalked three wide into the opening turn, loomed boldly at the head of the stretch but needed more late. JUMP THE QUEUE stalked the pace while three wide, moved up menacingly near the three-sixteenth pole, but was no match for the winner, then gave way. MEDIA SENSATION trailed the field early, and closed late. WHERE'S THE GOLD lagged early, and showed a mild interest late. WILLINGNESS fanned four wide into the opening turn, sat in striking range, and faded. SNAP COUNT tracked five wide and tired.
