REMARKABLE ELI contested the pace, battled on inside to gain an advantage over ALBERTA BERBON and prevailed. ALBERTA BERBON contended the pace, dueled outside of REMARKABLE ELI, rallied determinedly outside, dug in, but was unable to get by after a game effort. SAMURAI CHALLENGE stalked the dueling pacesetters, fanned three wide at the head the lane, and lacked a kick that was needed. DETERMINED FREEDOM sat in range and faded late stretch. EH TEE EM trailed throughout.
