Footnotes
BOUND FOR HEAVEN was allowed to settle early while three wide, took closer order nearing the quarter pole, rallied steadily while three wide, and prevailed. WHO'S THAT BABY saved ground while setting the pace, was under attack in the stretch and was outfinished. WANDALITA was bumped away from the gate, then was under a snug hold while in striking range, roused three wide at the quarter pole, rallied between foes but weakened late in the stretch. KARDINAL ROSE saved ground early, and gave the best late. MATURITY DATE was bumped leaving, was five wide entering the backstretch, and lacked a bid. SAILINGFORTHESTARS sat just off the pace while five wide, and tired early.
