STRIDENT MISS pressed the top pair from outside early, chased four then three wide on the turn, tipped back to the four path approaching the stretch, drew alongside LESS PLEASE past the eighth pole, dug in late and edged the runner-up on the line. LESS PLEASE sent from inside, dueled with outer pair up the backstretch, drifted out a bit at the quarter pole, resisted into deep stretch and got nailed at the wire. SAUCED UP unhurried in the early stages, angled to the inside, saved ground through the turn, moved out in the drive, showed late effort to gain third but could not reach the top pair. TIJUANA MONEY broke in and made contact with BEASTRO, chased from inside, ridden along through the turn, cut the corner into the lane, stayed in range into the final furlong, then flattened out late. ON BROADWAY fought for the lead between rivals then outside LESS PLEASE into and around the bend, fought to the eighth pole, then weakened in the furlong grounds. LIHUE PRINCESS stalked from well off the rail, fell out of range leaving the backstretch, took the turn four wide, came five wide into the stretch and lacked a rally. MANEE showed brief speed then lost ground up the backstretch, angled from the five path down to the two path on the turn and also failed to rally. ROSA'S MIRACLE raced greenly up the backstretch dropping off the pace, rounded the bend two to three wide, continued greenly in the stretch and failed to menace. LOOKS LIKE N ANGEL chased two wide into the turn, lost momentum around the bend, came three wide into the drive and weakened. BEASTRO broke a step slow, bumped and took up in the beginning, trailed on the inside and was never a factor.
