KOEKKOEK (GB) traveled in mid-pack from the rail, crept closer leaving the backstretch, angled out at the top of the lane, challenged with a furlong remaining, grabbed the lead with a sixteenth remaining and drove clear. CONQUER WE MUST (IRE) was off slow to begin, reserved in the early going and taken to the inside, patiently handled around the far turn, give his cue at the top of the lane, angled out into the clear, showed late run and got up to earn second. YEP (GB) tracked from inside, moved into range on the backstretch, tipped out at the top of the lane, put in a bid with a furlong remaining, led briefly midstretch but got outkicked by the top pair in the final sixteenth. PLAGARIST dueled from outside into the first turn, raced close up outside the leader on the backstretch, applied pressure once again on the far turn, took over at the top of the lane, relinquished the lead midstretch and flattened to fourth. GO RALPH sat off the pace in the two path, steered out into the lane, came with a mild rally and improved position. MIGHTY TORO dueled from inside into the first turn, seized control on the backstretch, challenged by PLAGARIST again on the far turn, lost command at the top of the stretch and weakened in the final furlong. PEACE ON EARTH laid off the pace from the rail then moved into the two path, continued two wide around the far turn, steered out at the top of the stretch and lacked further response. FLAMBOYANT was off slow to begin, guided to the rail racing near the back, angled from the two path to the four path around the far turn, steered out further in the lane and failed to threaten. CORKSCREW ANDY settled in the two path, moved into striking distance in the middle stages, came under a ride on the far turn, got floated out a bit in the lane and weakened. MOLUCCAN was off slow leaving the gate, traveled on the inside at the back, had one rival beat turning for home and could not make an impact. AMERICAN KING moved around just before the gates opened and came away slow, trailed outside MOLUCCAN, had sole ownership of the last on the far turn and never got involved.
