Footnotes
PACKS A WAHLOP dueled from outside early, took a stalking position around the first turn, headed the leader again at the half-mile pole, dueled around the far turn, seized control and moved clear in upper stretch and remained strong to the wire. CENTRODELANTERO unhurried in the early going, went three wide around the first turn,, moved into range in the middle stages, crept closer four deep on the far turn, took aim at the winner through the lane but could not summon the needed late kick. CATCH THE BREEZE tucked inside rivals at the back, trailed alone up the backstretch, rounded the far turn in the two path, swung out at the top of the lane, put in a late run but could not get up for second. MYTHICAL REEL (IRE) traveled between rivals in the two path into the first turn, continued in the two path on the far turn, roused at the quarter pole, angled out at the top of the lane, closed well in the furlong grounds but was not enough. IN THE TANK stalked in the two path between rivals, roused leaving the far tur and finished evenly late. EL REY REY took up entering exiting the chute, settled on the inside, saved ground to the stretch, steered out in the lane, kept trying but needed to find more. MIDNIGHT STRIKE reserved outside a pair of rivals, tugged the rider along on the backstretch, went three then four wide around the far turn, moved out further in the drive and failed to rally. MR. LEASURE stalked along the rail, followed the leader through the far turn, lacked room in upper stretch and could not rally once steered to a clear path. MUSCLED pulled three deep early, fought the rider again early on the backstretch, came under a ride outside the top pair at the quarter pole and weakened down the lane. HACKING IT UP dueled from inside, took control on the clubhouse turn, headed again at the half-mile marker, dueled on the second bend, yielded to the winner in upper stretch and gave way.
