FEELING LUCKY showed the way in the two path around the first turn, moved inside on the backstretch and took pressure from ROYAL RUMOR, dueled around the far turn, resisted into the last sixteenth and disposed of ROYAL RUMO late. ROYAL RUMOR stalked in the two path, applied pressure to FEELING LUCKY on the backstretch, fought on even terms around the far turn, battled into the final furlong, faltered in deep stretch but was able to save second. FLASH OF LIGHTNING trailed two wide around the first turn, traveled three deep on the backstretch, navigated the far turn three then four wide, closed well through the lane and missed second. HIGH KING angled to the rail stalking into the first turn, went between rivals around the bend, came under ride leaving the backstretch and found the rail, moved back into range on the far turn, steered out in the lane and finished willingly to round out the superfecta. DOING TIME settled in the two path, between rivals at the back in the middle stages, got put in tight past the three-eighths pole, angled four wide, steered out widest in the lane and showed a mild rally to improve position. BENNY'S PUZZLE steered to the inside racing at the back early, had to take up at the three-eighths pole, moved to the two path at the quarter pole, tipped three wide entering the lane, angled out further in upper stretch and kept on between runners in the final furlong. GOING NOWHERE away quickest and was prominent early while guided to the rail, stalked the top pair up the backstretch, shifted three wide at the quarter pole and weakened down the lane. HE'S PROOF OF JOY laid off the pace on the inside, got shuffled back into the far turn, continued on the inside to the stretch and was never a factor. MONSIEUR BIG settled outside a rival then got moved to the four path around the clubhouse turn, dropped off the pace, ridden along in the two path on the far turn and faded in the lane. BIG VENGEANCE tracked along the rail into the first turn then angled to the three path, asked two then three wide on the second bend and tired.
