Footnotes
DOMUS took control from NAYAR early and showed the way up the backstretch, inched away under coaxing on the turn, drifted in a bit to get close to the fence in the lane, corrected with left handed encouragement and padded the winning margin. NAYAR broke alertly and showed early speed outside DOMUS, ceded command to that rival and stalked up the backstretch, remained closest in pursuit in the two path through the turn, chased within striking distance to upper stretch, then watched his stablemate kick away and stayed on well for a clear second. MIDNIGHT OVATION bumped leaving the gate then got put in tight between rivals shortly after, moved forward four deep, continued four wide to the stretch and edged WHISKY BRIDGE for the show honors. WHISKEY BRIDGE got bumped between rivals in the beginning, followed in range up the backstretch, fell out of striking distance while saving ground on the turn, churned on through the lane and got edged for third. WILL DO ONE broke in and brushedraced off the rail from off the pace, traveled three then two wide on the turn and never responded to urging. CLEAR AND PRESENT stalked outside a rival then three wide around the bend, drifted in a bit in upper stretch and faded in the furlong grounds. DANG SON broke out and brushed WHISKEY BRIDGE, laid off the pace and m oved inside, came off the fence in the stretch and failed to menace. LUBIES PRINCE broke a bit slow, trailed from inside, angled four wide around the bend, entered the lane in the three path and was never a factor.
