Three-year-olds 120 lbs.; Older 125 lbs. Non-winners of a Grade I at one mile or over since Nove mber 2, 2025 allowed 2 lbs.; of a Grade II at one mile or over in 2026 or a Grade I at one mile or over in 2025, 4 lbs. High weights preferred. Total earnings in non-claiming races in 2026 will be used in determining the preference of horses with equal we ights. A trophy will be presented to the winning owner. (Rail at 18 feet).

GOLD PHOENIX (IRE) unhurried and found the rail early, steadied briefly behind a rival entering the stretch for the first time, traveled at the back in the middle stages, patiently handled still on the fence around the far turn, rallied between rivals, took aim at the leader into the final sixteenth, rallied in tandem with FORMIDABLE MAN late and caught CABO SPIRIT at the wire. CABO SPIRIT stepped to the front and controlled the pace through the early going, remained unchallenged through the far turn, moved out at the top of the lane, continued clear into the final sixteenth, came under threat from a pair of rivals late and got nailed on the line. FORMIDABLE MAN steadied briefly behind SEAL TEAM (GB) entering the lane for the first time, moved into the two path tracking the speed, came under a ride three deep on the far turn, chased in range to midstretch, dug in the last sixteenth but came up just short in the end. STAY HOT laid off the pace on the inside, moved forward on the backstretch, hugged the rail to the stretch, had his path taken by SEAL TEAM (GB) midstretch, then finished willingly once in the clear the last sixteenth. SEAL TEAM (GB) got bumped by ALMENDARES (GB) early, stalked two wide, moved to the inside and crept closer to CABO SPIRIT, given his cue turning for home, bid in upper stretch but flattened out in the late stages. ALMENDARES (GB) hit the rail and bumped SEAL TEAM (GB) coming into the stretch for the first time, stalked along the fence then moved to the two path on the backstretch, came under a ride exiting the far turn and finished evenly through the lane. MONDEGO (GB) trailed on the inside then went outside GOLD PHOENIX (IRE) leaving the clubhouse turn, traveled three deep into the second bend, ridden along through the turn, angled out for the stretch and could not rally. MI HERMANO RAMON settled in the two path, between runners into the far turn, tipped out into the stretch and lacked further response.
