COMPROMISE was lightly bumped by inside rival leaving the gate, tucked in behind leaders early, stalked from along the rail, angled out passing quarter marker, moved alongside pacesetter in upper stretch, gained lead passing eighth marker and powered away. ROSA'S MIRACLE quickly stepped to the front, took pressure from I'M SMOKEN HOT through the backstretch, inched away on second bend but relinquished command a furlong out, could not match winner in the drive but was clearly next best while coming out some late. ESTRELLA ESMERAL broke out and lightly bumped rival, chased from the inside, remained along the rail thereafter and gained show honors while drifting out nearing the wire. ICECREAM ONTHESIDE unhurried early, trailed while in two path, chased outside rival into final bend and failed to threaten. I'M SMOKEN HOT forced the issue while outside pacesetter into the backstretch, continued close up to the far turn, dropped back around last bend and weakened. BELL BOTTOM BLUES angled over early, chased from the two and later three path and lacked needed late response.
