ORANGE THUNDER settled mid-pack outside two to three wide in the early going, began to advance on the far turn moving out four wide coming to the quarter pole, came into upper stretch five wide under urging, moved out a bit soon after, struck the lead past the eighth pole, held while being kept to task. LANILLA settled outside at the rear, advanced starting on the far turn, was forced outside foes fanning seven wide into upper stretch, lugged out a little near the sixteenth pole but continued to gain late. SHINING RIVER (GB) was forwardly-positioned outside racing three deep just off the leaders in the second flight, fanned out a path turning for home and was asked at that juncture, made a mild bid between foes past the furlong marker but was outkicked. SPECIALTY settled outside a foe two to three wide toward the back, advanced mildly on the far turn while forced outside foes, fanned five to six wide into upper stretch racing in behind runners, gained some late. CAT THE CONFIDANTE (IRE) was reserved mid-pack inside, moved out off the rail midway on the far turn, came into upper stretch four wide, ran on evenly. BIRKIN GIRL shifted in early trailing along the inside, could see them all coming to the top of the stretch, came out seven wide and gained some but was too little too late. INTUITIVEBYNATURE lacked early speed, was in just a bit tight early then shifted in and moved up again into tight quarters steadying slightly entering the first turn, settled toward the back inside on or just off the rail, passed tired rivals inside in late stretch. REHEARSAL (IRE) moved forward early shifting in to track in behind the leaders saving ground inside, was within range late on the far turn coming off the rail a bit for the drive, faltered and faded. ANGELICA BAY (IRE) was coaxed forward from the start, stalked the leader from outside, moved to challenge on the far turn taking a narrow lead at the quarter pole, was in command till past the furlong marker then faltered and faded. KINTRIGUE was quick to take the lead, set the pace inside, was challenged on the far turn and overtaken late on that bend, was off the fence turning into upper stretch and faded in the lane.
