BESSIE COLEMAN chased in behind two wide, was in tight tapping on the brakes leaving the backstretch, angled six wide coming to the top of the stretch bumping a rival lightly in the process, took charge near the furlong marker, edged clear by the sixteenth pole and drifted out late but held. REDHEADED REBA switched out early and was kept wide heading to the turn, raced five to six deep on that bend still off the pace, swung out ten wide for the drive, was gaining late. SYNTAX moved forward outside heading up the backstretch, raced close up four to five wide on the turn, was bumped lightly at the top of the stretch, kept on well but was forced out a bit in deep stretch and outfinished for place. TIMEKEEPER'S CHARM was quick to take the lead, set a pressured pace from off the inside racing in the two to three path on the turn, was overtaken by an inside rival past the five-sixteenths, fought on while floating out a bit leaving the turn, was still contending for the lead in upper stretch then yielded. MISS KONA broke a step slowly, lacked early speed trailing far back into the turn near the inside, came out four wide turning into upper stretch then was guided out further and continued to rally but was left with too much to do. BABY NEEDS SHOES was mid-pack inside, saved ground through the turn, ran on evenly. LA SILENCIOSA tracked just off and in behind the leaders along the inside, bid up the rail passing the five-sixteenths, dueled while drifting out a path or two leaving the turn, faltered soon after and faded. THE LOAN EXCHANGE chased in behind the leaders between foes, was in tight from the half and steadied heading into the turn, dropped back and was encouraged along two to three wide, failed to rally. HARNEY LANE was outpaced early racing outside, entered the turn in the seven path, floated ten wide into upper stretch, failed to menace. LADY GAMBITA pressed the pace from the outset racing outside three to four wide into the turn, dropped back and faded. MISS PRACTICAL was squeezed back just after the start, made an early advance outside heading to the turn but caught six to seven wide on that bend, flattened out in the stretch. LADY GREGORY chased in behind the leaders outside foes four wide heading to the turn exchanging minor brushing, dropped back leaving that bend and faded in the stretch.
