RO TOWN vied three deep between runners, fought two wide between at the quarter pole, dueled inside ELTONSINGSANOTHER turning for home, drifted out in upper stretch, carried a short lead over outer rivals into the final furlong, battled MIZ CLUBCALI late and gamely prevailed. MIZ CLUBCALI sat off the pace in the early going, picked up stride in the three path on the turn but got put in tight by POP ROX coming out a bid and had to take up, chased two wide into the stretch, angled out, bid three deep with a furlong remaining, dueled outside RO TOWN in deep stretch and failed to get by. ELTONSINGSANOTHER fought for the lead four deep in the early going, vied four, three, then two wide around the turn, battled between rivals again entering the final furlong and faltered in the last sixteenth. POP ROX showed brief speed then chased after the top quartet, went two wide into the turn, took aim from the three path turning for home, angled out into the clear and finished evenly. GIANT KID tracked outside a rival then moved inside, drew closer from the fence but got put in tight quarters by ROMAN EMPRESS nearing the quarter pole, tipped out into the clear and lacked a bid. PERFECT LIFE traveled along the inside at the back, swung out at the quarter pole, showed run in the final furlong but got going too late. LA SCALONETA broke out and came away last, chased outside rivals in the four path leaving the backstretch, moved to the five path midway around the bend, stayed out wide into the stretch and weakened. OVETA'S HOBBY vied between rivals to the five-sixteenths pole, brushed with ROMAN EMPRESS then found the rail at the quarter pole, yielded to the top pair nearing the stretch and weakened. ROMAN EMPRESS fought inside a trio of rivals to the five-sixteenths pole, got bumped and lost momentum with a quarter mile remaining, eased in the lane and walked off.
