MILLBO BAGGINS dueled from inside then took a stalking position on the first turn, was closest in pursuit of the runaway leader on the backstretch, cut into the margin past the quarter pole, loomed boldly approaching the eighth pole, quickly took over in midstretch, cleared NOBLE MINDED then held over FORZA AZZURRI late. FORZA AZZURRI bumped leaving the gate, settled outside a pair of rivals, raced two wide leaving the backstretch, quickly angled four wide on the far turn, closed well, drew alongside the winner late but ran out of ground. D DAY SKY stumbled and got bumped between rivals at the start, trailed on the inside, advanced three to five wide on the far turn, finished well down the lane and gained third. NOBLE MINDED dueled from outside then cleared around the first turn and crossed over, opened up on the backstretch, remained well clear to the quarter pole, asked right handed late on the bend, carried a rapidly diminishing lead entering the final furlong, lost command midstretch and flattened to fourth. TROJAN MAFIA forwardly placed four wide early, dropped off the pace and stayed away from the rail, asked four then three wide on the turn and never responded to urging. AUDIBLE SILENCE pulled along the rail on the first turn, ridden next to the fence around the far turn and failed to threaten. BIG REFLECTIONS got bumped on both sides at the start, sat off the pace in the two path between rivals early, saved ground along the rail on the far turn and failed to menace. TYPHOON TOMMY chased along the inside, fell out of range between rivals on the backstretch, weakened around the far turn and had little left for the stretch run. SUNSET RIDE broke out and bumped, chased two then three wide on the first turn, watched the leader kick away on the backstretch, dropped back to last on the far turn, eased in the lane and walked off.
