DEA MATRONA (FR) reserved inside, moved forward between rivals on the backstretch, chased in the two path between on the far turn, angled out in upper stretch, took over midstretch and held gamely. MISS MEAGHER (IRE) saved ground near the back, patiently handled still on the fence through the far turn, roused in upper stretch, rallied between rivals midstretch, dug in and got up for second. LITTLE HIDDEN PORT (ARG) reserved three deep in the early going, moved to mid-pack on the backstretch, drew closer three then four wide on the far turn, bid in upper stretch and got outkicked by the top pair. KETONIA (FR) got put in tight and checked between rivals early, raced outside a rival at the back of the pack, went three deep into the far turn, closed in around the bend, swung widest into the stretch, finished well and rounded out the superfecta. FALABELLA broke in and bumped HOW ABOUT PAVEL, sprinted to the front and moved clear, showed the way along the inside, took pressure at the half-mile pole, cleared at the three-eighths pole, headed at the quarter pole, shifted out and brushed at the top of the lane, dug in to the sixteenth pole and yielded grudgingly late. HOW ABOUT PAVEL absorbed contact from FALABELLA at the start, stalked on the inside, saved ground to the stretch, put in a mild rail bid and flattened out in the last sixteenth. ALERAMO (IRE) traveled three wide into the first turn then quickly moved into the two path, chased two then three wide around the far turn, steered out in the lane and failed to menace. GOING DEEP was closest in pursuit in the two path early, applied pressure to the leader at the halfway mark, lost contact with three furlongs remaining, re-bid at the quarter pole, dueled into the final furlong and weakened in deep stretch. SAKURA FLAVOR (IRE) tucked inside at the back, saved ground through the far turn, lacked room behind a rival late on that bend and was never a factor. GIGGLE GIGGLE rated in the two path in the early going, raced outside a pair of rivals leaving the backstretch, took aim three wide turning for home and weakened.
