DRIFTINGANDREAMING was off slow to begin, moved forward quickly and stalked the top pair up the backstretch, loomed three wide turning for home, collared the leader outside the eighth pole, surged clear midstretch and held safely in the end. STRIKE IT SOLO gave chase from off the rail while out of striking range, took the turn three to four wide, finished well to gain second but could not get to the winner late. CHARMZ AWAY chased from off the pace staying away from the rail, spun four wide into the lane, angled inward in deep stretch and edged DADDYS STAR for the show honors. DADDYS STAR was off slow to begin, coaxed early near the back, driven five wide into the lane, kept on through the lane and just missed third. RIDE THE TIGER dueled from outside, cleared inner rival around the turn, showed the way two wide into the stretch, clung to a narrow lead at the eighth pole, yielded to the winner midstretch and flattened out. ONE LAST STRIKE was off slow from inside, raced greenly drifting away from the rail at the back and failed to get involved. LOW TOX traveled in mid-pack from well off the rail early on, ridden along through the turn, entered the lane four to five wide and lacked a rally. MIGUELITO broke a step slow, chased along the inside off the pace, went two wide into the lane, drifted inward and corrected in upper stretch, then weakened in the final furlong. PROOF HE'S FAST hustled early and dueled for the lead from inside, failed to keep up with RIDE THE TIGER at the quarter pole and tired in the lane.
