ATOMIC AGE well placed from inside, waited behind the leader through the final furlong, entered the lane in the two path, tipped out and launched a bid at the top of the lane, collared the leader with a furlong remaining, put a head in front outside the sixteenth pole and drove clear. POOR CONNECTION raced up close in the two path or to the outside of the leader, applied pressured around the clubhouse turn, dueled leaving the backstretch, took over past the quarter pole, put FOMO JOE away in upper stretch, challenged by the winner at the eighth pole, lost the lead with a sixteenth remaining and held second. MYTHICAL REEL (IRE) tracked along the rail then moved to the two path around the first turn, waited around the third turn still in the two path, came under a ride in the stretch and outkicked GROGU for third. GROGU trailed on the inside through the first two turns, went outside a rival on the backstretch, advanced three deep on the far turn and finished evenly late. RIMPROTECTOR settled inside, drew closer on the backstretch, hugged the rail to the stretch, then moved off the fence and failed to threaten. LIVING LIFE unhurried outside a rival in the opening stages, traveled on the rail around the clubhouse turn, trailed into the final bend, tipped out at the top of the lane, lacked room behind rivals in upper stretch and failed to menace. FOMO JOE broke well to take the front, moved inside, pressured around the clubhouse turn, fought on even terms into the final furlong, lost the lead past the quarter pole, yielded in upper stretch and retreated. SIR PERCIVAL stalked three wide around the first turn, moved into the two path first time through the stretch, asked three deep at the quarter pole and faded out of contention.
