Footnotes
UNPRETENTIOUS showed early foot but got put in tight briefly by MARCOS PERFORMANCE, pursued under coaxing from outside, bid three wide with a quarter mile remaining, put a head in front entering the lane, maintained a short lead over MARCOS PERFORMANCE to midstretch, then put that rival away at the sixteenth pole and inched away late. MARCOS PERFORMANCE dueled from outside, held a short lead over BEE EYE GEE around the bend, put that rival away while coming under threat from UNPRETENTIOUS at the quarter pole, relinquished the lead turning for home, stayed on to midstretch, then flattened late but was able to save second. HURRICANE WAY chased from inside, lost ground on the turn, angled out and came four wide into the lane, summoned a mild rally and missed second. BEE EYE GEE dueled from inside, yielded to outer pair at the quarter pole and weakened. BAZOOKA CHARLIE raced up close between rivals but got put in tight at the nine-sixteenths pole, chased the leaders two then three wide and weakened in the lane.
