Footnotes
PATH TO POWER (GB) settled three deep early, moved into the two path first time in the stretch, picked up stride while angling out on the far turn, challenged five wide turning for home, surged clear entering the furlong ground and was ridden out to the wire. PAX MUNDI traveled two wide at the back in the early going, swung five wide late on the far turn, finished well to gain second but was no match for the winner. CONSTITUTION ANDI pulled badly on the inside all the way to the backstretch, tugged the rider forward between rivals, waited in the two path on the far turn, lacked room and bumped in traffic entering the lane, split foes at the top of the stretch and ran on for third. HAZAKA (FR) tracked in the two path, bid three deep leaving the backstretch and took over briefly, gave the lead back early on the far turn, vied three deep to the stretch and weakened. GO RALPH traveled two wide leaving the chute and dropped off the pace, pulled on the inside around the clubhouse turn, remained in hand on the backstretch, lacked room behind behind rivals on the far turn, moved out in the lane and kept trying to improve position. KHONSU stalked along the rail, drafted behind the leader on the far turn, had an opening present itself turning for home, put in a mild rail bid but weakened in the final furlong. CONQUER WE MUST (IRE) broke a bit slow, reserved in the two path after, moved into range three deep in the middle stages, bumped entering the lane, angled to a clear path and flattened out. CORKSCREW ANDY unhurried in the early going on the inside, coaxed along the rail on the far turn, moved off the fence in upper stretch and passed tired rivals. AMERICAN KING set the pace from inside, lost the lead when challenged by a pair of rivals at the seven-sixteenths pole, regained command early on the turn, drifted and bumped into the stretch, then folded once overtaken. PEACE ON EARTH was closest in pursuit in the two path early, bid between rivals at the seven-sixteenths pole, got bumped by AMERICAN KING entering the lane and faded.
