VAN GOGH STYLE dueled from inside up the backstretch and around the turn, shook free in upper stretch and drew away. CORNEALEUSTHEGREAT got crowded and had to take up early, raced outside a rival at the back then angled in with one rival beat leaving the backstretch, rallied up the rail then steered out in the last sixteenth to get up for second. MICKEY sat off the pace in the early going, went two wide into the turn, tipped three wide approaching the five-sixteenths pole, angled out and came five wide into the stretch and rallied to earn third. GABRIEL'S GIFT broke in, bumped with FINE IRISH MORNING early, stalked the top pair to the turn, challenged three deep on the turn, could not match strides with the winner in upper stretch and flattened out deep stretch. PAPA SANTOS broke well, stalked two wide into the turn, chased between runners then came three wide into the stretch, angled out at the eighth pole and never threatened. SEAVER WAY raced off the pace on the inside, chased two wide into the lane, three deep at the eighth pole and failed to menace. HE'S PROOF OF JOY was in range early from inside, lost ground through the turn under urging and faded in the drive. FINE IRISH MORNING broke inward, bumped with GABRIEL'S GIFT early, chased three deep on the turn, drifted inward in the lane and tired. ONE MORE ZINGER away quickest from the outside, dueled for the lead with VAN GOGH STYLE up the backstretch and around the turn, yielded between rivals approaching the stretch and retreated. TIGER TO YOU got put in tight and checked early, trailed into the turn, angled from the two path to the four path around the bend and was never a factor. RACK ON MAN bothered from outside leaving the gate, climbed along early while in mid-pack, lost positions three then four wide on the turn and had little left for the stretch run.
