AH JEEZ traveled near the back on the inside, moved out and was on the move three deep in the middle stages, challenged the top pair from outside into the far turn, vied three deep to the lane, took over in upper stretch, cleared midstretch and was kept busy to the wire. MARY'S BOY BOLT tracked in the two path around the first turn, raced along the rail into the far turn, moved back to the two path at the quarter pole, steered out in the lane to take aim at the leaders, rallied for second but could not get to the winner. ZALAMO (FR) sat off the pace in the early going, crept closer on the backstretch, raced a bit off the rail on the far turn, finished willingly through the lane and earned the show honors. LAHAINA FLAVOR trailed from inside early, rounded the far turn in the two path, steered out in the lane and finished well to earn a minor award. MUBTADAA forwardly placed from inside, bid between runners at the seven-sixteenths marker, took a short lead around the far turn, lost the lead in upper stretch and flattened to fifth. UNCLE HAPPY reserved along the rail early, roused two wide on the second bend but failed to rally. DEALERS SPECIAL raced in mid-pack outside a rival, moved into range leaving the backstretch, angled out on the far turn, spun four wide into the lane and never responded to urging. DOUBLE NEAT showed the way from inside, challenged by a pair of rivals at the seven-sixteenths pole, lost command at the three-eighths pole, fought back to upper stretch, then weakened in the furlong grounds. PHOSPHORESCENCE (FR) traveled in mid-pack on the inside, continued out of range to the far turn, saved ground staying on the fence and failed to menace.
