Footnotes
BROHEIM settled outside a rival, moved into second while taking the turn two then three wide, chased determinedly into the final sixteenth, then inhaled the runner-up late to get up for the score. PRACTICAL JACK showed the way under pressure up the backstretch, kicked clear on the turn, carried a comfortable lead into the last sixteenth, grew weary late and got run down by the winner. JETWAY stumbled a bit in the hind-quarters leaving the gate but quickly recovered to only lose a step, chased from well off the rail out of range in the early going, went four wide into the turn, spun six wide into the stretch and was along for the show. FREDDY FIVE FOUR chased from inside out of range of the leader, came under a ride saving ground on the turn and lacked the needed response. KORE KINETIC prompted the pace from outside, failed to keep up and lost ground three then four wide on the turn and faded in the stretch run. ZENJIN dropped back under coaxing early, trailed three wide on the turn and was never a factor.
