Footnotes
MARGARITA GIRL vied between rivals up the backstretch, pressed the leader early on the turn, lost touch past the five-sixteenths pole, chased two wide into the lane, re-bid in upper stretch, put a head in front outside the sixteenth pole and edged clear. INTO THE HALL fought for command inside a pair of rivals, cleared around the turn, challenged again by MARGARITA GIRL in upper stretch, fought back to the sixteenth pole, then yielded to the winner and held second. PHILIPPA bumped with NAPLES GAL in the beginning, raced in range widest up the backstretch, traveled four wide on the turn then took aim three wide turning for home, challenged outside the top pair in upper stretch and missed second. NEKO lacked early speed, stayed well off the rail to the turn, angled to the three path entering the bend, made some progress while moving to the two path, cut the corner entering the lane and finished once paced in the final furlong. NAPLES GAL bumped with PHILIPPA at the start, vied three deep to the turn, failed to keep up and chased three wide around the bend and weakened in the drive. CURTSY chased two wide into the turn, dropped back to last and moved to the rail around the bend, then came up empty in the drive.
