TRUSTY RUSTY got crowded between rivals in the chute, steered to the rail and laid well off the pace in the opening rounds, gained next to the fence around the far turn, challenged from inside a furlong out, took over midstretch and edged clear from DRUIDIC in deep stretch. DRUIDIC tracked outside a rival then moved inside for the clubhouse turn, was closest in pursuit of the lone leader up backstretch, closed in through the far turn, took aim two wide exiting that bend, bid three deep with a furlong remaining and got outkicked by the winner. OOBUBBAKAKAYO trailed outside a rival then moved to the rail early, passed a rival on the far turn still on the fence, moved out in the lane and showed late effort to gain third. MONGOLIAN APPLE stepped to the front and opened up on the inside, carried a comfortable lead to the quarter pole, held a diminishing lead into the lane, challenged on both sides past the eighth pole and yielded to the top trio in deep stretch. MCCLUSKY got put in tight between rivals in the chute, sat off the pace on the inside, crept closer while tipping to the three path on the far turn, kept trying through the final furlong but could only whittle the gap late. UNCHARTED raced outside a rival near the back of the pack, ridden along on the far turn, swung out approaching the stretch and offered a mild response. LAW ABIDING tracked along the inside, moved into range while shifting to the two path on the far turn, moved out further in upper stretch and faded. SUNSET STORM sat off the pace in the two path, asked two then three wide around the far turn, moved back to the two path entering the lane and tired.
