PURA VIDA PRINCESA was closest in pursuit of the leader from the two path early on, drew alongside RIBBONS on the far turn, grabbed the lead in upper stretch, cleared in the furlong grounds and stayed strong to the wire. RIBBONS set the pace uncontested to the far turn, challenged by PURA VIDA PRINCESA around the bend, lost the lead in upper stretch and stayed on to hold second. RAW ABILITY (IRE) stalked the top pair from the rail, drafted behind RIBBONS to the quarter pole, tipped two wide leaving the bend and finished evenly through the lane. DREAMING OF ABBA took a stalking position outside RAW ABILITY (IRE), chased three wide turning for home and lacked the needed response.
