Footnotes
CRUNCHY bumped with outer rival at the start, chased from inside out of range into the turn, drew closer while angling outside the top trio on the turn, entered the lane in the five path, took the lead midstretch and held gamely over the runner-up. KISS ME COCO broke out and brushed, settled in mid-pack outside the winner, went three wide into the turn, angled six wide around the bend, rallied from outside but ran out of ground late. CAN YOU DREAM vied between rivals up the backstretch and around the turn, spun three wide into the lane, fought on to sixteenth pole, then weakened late. SELECTED broke inward to lose a step, dropped back early, raced inside a pair of rivals into the turn, chased a bit off the rail into the lane, steered out in the drive and summoned a mild rally to round out the superfecta. VICTORIA'S JEWEL took a bump from inside leaving the gate, went up to take a narrow lead inside a pair of rivals, maintained command through the turn, relinquished the lead midstretch and weakened late. SHEER LIGHTNING came out leaving the gate, fought for the lead three deep up the backstretch and on the turn, entered the lane in the four path, could not kick on with the leaders in midstretch and weakened. CHICA TIGRE stalked the top trio from inside, asked right handed turning for home and weakened down the lane. JOYRIDING had his path taken by the winner early, raced outside a pair of rivals at the back, continued off the rail into the lane and was never a factor. ROYALLY UNSTABLE lost his path early, chased between runners at the back, went two then three wide on the turn before cutting inside and came up empty in the drive.
