MY MORONI showed the way under pressure from outside early, moved clear on the turn, continued clear into the final sixteenth, met the challenge from ONE STEP BEYOND late and held well. ONE STEP BEYOND broke inward but was quickly corrected, chased on the inside into the turn, tipped two wide at the quarter pole, took aim at the leader in the stretch, dug in late but could not get by. TRAIL BLAZE coaxed from the gate, chased from inside then was taken back off the pace and moved out, went two wide into the turn, tipped out into the lane while moving into the third, finished willingly down the stretch but could not threaten the top pair. KING OF SUCCESS was off slow to begin, raced at the back of the pack two wide into the turn, eased over to the three path, swung six wide approaching the stretch, drifted inward in the lane and kept on for minor award. GUILLERMO was ridden along early from off the pace, exited the backstretch in the three path, cut inside ot save ground through the turn, remained next to the fence in the stretch and improved position but needed to find more to be considered a threat. MR. CARDENAS tracked off the rail, took the turn four to five wide, drifted in in a bit in upper stretch and flattened out. GRAY TIGER shifted out and bumped leaving the gate, dropped to the back of the pace, went four wide into the turn, angled six wide outside a rival early on the bend, steered back inward and spun three wide into the stretch and passed tired rivals. SURF RANGER pressed between rivals up the backstretch, failed to keep up and chased two then three wide on the turn, then tired down the lane. MY MAN HUEY bumped with GRAY TIGER in the beginning, attended the pace three deep early, lost ground three to four wide on the turn and faded. DARTH GRAYDAR ducked out leaving the gate, went five wide into the turn traveling towards the rear, dropped back to last while moving down to the two path around the bend and was never a factor.
