LENA LINDGARD tracked from inside, closed in quickly on the turn but had to pause behind the leader at the five-sixteenths pole, gained an opening at the quarter pole and quickly went through to challenge, grabbed the lead leaving the bend, moved clear at the top of the lane, met the bid from PERFECT SMILE in the furlong grounds and stubbornly held. PERFECT SMILE showed brief speed between rivals then chased off the rail to the turn, tipped four wide leaving the bend, drew alongside LENA LINDGARD midstretch, battled to the wire but could not get by. READY TO DARE chased from off the pace, moved to the inside, made progress while easing over to the two path around the bend, altered out midstretch, came with a late run but could not reach the top pair. EVERMORE raced in mid-pack keeping off the inside to the turn, went three to four wide around the bend, churned on through the final furlong and earned a minor award. PONYTAIL PETE bumped leaving the gate, fought three deep then dueled from outside up the backstretch, lost touch with the leader for a bit midway around the bend, re-bid three deep approaching the stretch, could not match strides with the winner in upper stretch and flattened out in the late stages. THETRIBEHASSPOKEN suffered a mild shuffle early, went two wide into the turn, found the rail quickly around the bend and failed to menace. SIEMPRE NAMAN dropped back when climbing early, was taken out wide into the clear, went six wide into the turn, angled down to the two path around the bend, then passed tired rivals down the lane. LUCKY NEA steadied behind a rival when climbing early, raced between runners leaving the backstretch, spun five wide into the lane, altered in a bit at the sixteenth pole and was never a factor. FREE NOMINATION chased off the inside, two to three wide on the turn and had little left for the stretch run. PRIZECONQUEST broke through the gate, brought back around and reloaded, bumped at the start, chased from off the pace five wide into the turn, exited the bend in the six path and could not make an impact. HEARTFULL OF JOY fought inside a pair of rivals for early command then dueled up the backstretch, cleared briefly midway around the bend, challenged from both sides, turning for home, yielded in upper stretch, eased out of the race and guided out wide midstretch, crossed the finish line and walked off.
