WILD WEST COAST reserved on the inside then moved to the two path on the first turn, eased over to the three path midway around the far turn, came four wide into the stretch, reeled in the top pair with a sixteenth remaining, cleared quickly and won going away. WE THE HOBBY tracked keenly in hand early, tugged the rider forward on the backstretch and challenged three deep at the half-mile pole, dueled outside SYNTAX into and around the far turn holding a slim advantage, lost command in upper stretch, battled into the last sixteenth, was no match for the winner late but was able to hold second. SYNTAX dueled from inside then took control around the clubhouse turn, pressured by a pair of rivals at the midway point, lost command dueling with WE THE HOBBY on the far turn, regained the advantage in upper stretch, dug in to the sixteenth pole, could not keep pace with the winner late and got edged for second. TROISIEME ETOILE dueled outside SYNTAX early then took a stalking position on the first turn, applied pressured between rivals at the half-mile pole, could not keep up with the leaders into the far turn, chased two then three wide around the bend, kept trying through the lane and earned a minor award. ELLEN JORTH stalked in the two path then found the rail, came under a ride at the three-eighths pole, asked left handed in the lane but could not produce a bid. ORANGE THUNDER trailed on the inside into the first turn, passed a couple rivals on the far turn, tipped out into the lane and showed a mild response to advance in the final furlong. IT'S A FAIRLIFE traveled in mid-pack on the inside, dropped back a bit on the backstretch, hugged the rail to the stretch and failed to menace. MPERFECTION reserved next to the rail in the opening stages, went between rivals at the half-mile pole, chased two wide into the lane, angled out and failed to rally. WHOPPER FACTOR tracked from inside out of range, raced in mid-pack into the far turn, tipped three wide around the bend and weakened. GOJE tracked outside a rival in the two path, lost ground two then three wide on the far turn and weakened down the lane. REDHEADED REBA reserved in the three path towards the rear, entered the far turn three deep, fell back to last, entered the lane in the four path and was never a factor. NEWPORT DREAMZ sat off the pace two then three wide, asked right handed on the far turn and had little left for the drive.
