GOLDEN HOPE got crowded and steadied in the chute, tracked three deep around the first turns, traveled two then three wide on the second bend, challenged from outside in upper stretch, took over midstretch and held safely. ASTRONOMICALLY (IRE) got put in tight and bumped in the chute, pulled between rivals on the clubhouse turn, saved ground through the far turn, tipped out into the stretch, closed well to gain second but could not get by the winner. VELVET REIGN (IRE) stumbled leaving the gate, bumped with a rival shortly after, moved clear and set the pace on the inside, challenged in upper stretch, clung to a narrow lead at the eighth pole, lost the lead midstretch and yielded late. CUBAN FLAME (FR) dwelt at the start, angled to the inside trailing the field, passed a rival turning for home, steered out in the lane and kept on to earn a minor award. SUNNY CREED reserved along the rail then moved over to the two path around the clubhouse turn, chased between rivals or in the two path on the second bend, tipped out into the lane and lacked a rally. STORM LADY (GB) tracked in hand along the rail, crept closer on the backstretch, asked around the far turn, followed in range to the sixteenth pole, then flattened out. JET BLACK JEWEL (IRE) got bumped in the chute, forwardly placed from inside then came off the rail a bit, flanked the leader into the far turn, came under a ride in the two path and weakened. SPRINGLINE raced up close two then three wide, traveled outside a pair of rivals on the backstretch, lost positions three wide on the far turn and tired.
