Footnotes
UPCHARGE got put in a bit tight at the start, reserved on the inside, asked along the rail then two wide on the far turn, swung widest into the lane, surged up to challenge with a sixteenth remaining and edged clear. TIME TO SHINE was closest in pursuit from the two path early, moved up to pressure the leader on the backstretch, headed that rival midway around the far turn, put a head in front while bumping twice with CLOUDY WOMEN at the eighth pole, clung to a short lead with a sixteenth remaining, could not handle the winner late but was able to save second. HAPPYASACLAM (IRE) stalked the pace from inside, angled out under left handed urging in upper stretch, rallied between runners into deep stretch and missed second. TAVOLARA tracked next to the fence through both turns and lacked a rally when called upon. LADY MARYANN followed in range from the two path, spun three wide into the lane and also failed to rally. CLOUDY WOMEN stepped to the front on the inside, took pressure at the halfway point, dueled around the far turn, bumped with TIME TO SHINE at the eighth pole and relinquished the lead, fought on to the sixteenth pole and faltered late. IRISH ROSE unhurried in the two path in the opening rounds, had one rival beat into the far turn, angled four wide leaving the bend and flattened out.
