CAN'T SLEEP fought for the lead three deep between rivals, got crowded at the seven-sixteenths pole, chased two wide through the turn, tipped out in upper stretch, bid four deep at the eighth pole, forged ahead in deep stretch and held safely over the runner-up. SWEET GAL OF MINE chased from off the pace, went two wide into the turn, started to make progress but lacked room at the quarter pole, angled out widest and was gaining on the winner to the wire. ANDIAMO RAGAZZA stalked from inside, drafted behind the leader on the turn, launched a rail bid in upper stretch, battled into the final sixteenth and got outkicked by the top pair. THERMAL antsy in the gate, vied for the lead from inside, held a short lead over outer rival around the bend, resisted to midstretch, lost command a sixteenth out and flattened. MISS MANDALAY (GB) vied between rivals up the backstretch, kept the pressure on THERMAL from outside around the bend, battled between rivals in the lane and weakened in deep stretch. SHAMROCKIN lacked early speed, saved ground around the bend, steered out in the lane and offered a mild response to improve position. PRINCESA MOCHE (PER) chased from off the rail, angled in on the turn and lacked a rally. CYPRUS MOON was antsy in the gate, vied four then three deep up the backstretch, weakened three wide on the turn and faded. MIRACLE BALL was also antsy in the gate, vied five then four deep to the turn, weakened in the four path on the turn and came up empty.
