MAGIC CONNECTION broke out, followed in range off the rail or outside a rival, came five wide into the lane, rallied alongside the runner-up and proved best in the end. HEPHEPCUTDOWNNETS stalked the top pair to the turn, traveled on the inside then tipped three wide around the bend, rallied to the front a sixteenth out and got outkicked by the winner. GRINNELL broke out, laid off the pace outside a rival, moved into range two then three wide on the turn and finished evenly late. SEATTLE SURF broke well to take the lead then came under threat from UNIQUE POWER, dueled inside that rival to the turn, inched ahead around the bend, edged clear into the lane, challenged by a pair of rivals midstretch and yielded in the final sixteenth. UNIQUE POWER dueled from outside, kept the pressure on around the bend, lost touch with SEATTLE SURF entering the lane and weakened. LEAN MUSIC MACHINE chased from off the pace then trailed into the turn, rounded the bend two then three wide, steered out in the lane and was never a factor. MY HERO coaxed along from out of range on the inside, fell back to last on the turn and could not make an impact. SPRINGS broke slow and spotted the field a couple lengths at the start, trailed early then had one rival beat three deep into the turn, moved out to the five path around the bend and weakened in the drive.
