EL DIABLO ROJO got shuffled back a bit early behind a climbing rival, moved inside for the turn, eased over to the two path midway around the bend, angled out in the lane, closed well four deep into the last sixteenth and drove clear. ATOMIC DROP tracked the top pair from off the rail out of range, went three wide around the bend, closed in entering the final furlong, rallied between rivals but got outclosed by the winner. NATION bumped with outer rival twice leaving the gate, sat off the pace, went two wide into the turn, spun five wide into the lane and rallied for the show honors. TIGER IN MY TANK held a short lead over inner rival into the turn, failed to shake loose around the bend, lost command approaching the stretch, fought back to regain the advantage midstretch but was swallowed up by the top trio late. MOMO'S KIDDO got bumped twice leaving the gate, chased wide up the backstretch, five then six wide around the bend and kept trying to the wire. WESTERN AVENUE broke out, chased well off the rail off the pace, went four wide around the bend and failed to menace. BALLYVAUGHAN GIG was a bit fractious in the gate, went up to press the leader from inside, put a head in front late on the bend, gave the lead back to TIGER IN MY TANK midstretch and weakened in the last sixteenth. CLEVER CLOVER dropped back when climbing early, angled to the inside, steered out on the turn and came four wide into the lane and failed to offer the needed response. JAIME'S COMMITMENT hopped at the start and trailed early, stayed out wide then angled into the four path entering the turn, moved to the three path then came back out to enter the lane five wide and was never a factor. SO I'M TOLD chased from inside out of range, lost ground on the turn and weakened.
