Footnotes
TWILIGHT EMPIRE broke out, content to settle at the back early on off the rail outside a rival, trailed up the backstretch, was on the move picking off rivals from outside through the far turn, entered the lane in the six path, reeled in the top pair with a sixteenth remaining and edged PUTT FOR DOUGH late. PUTT FOR DOUGH stalked the lone leader from inside, fell out of range on the far turn, angled out and came five wide into the lane, reeled in the leader at the sixteenth pole, took over shortly after but could not fend off the winner from outside. IVORY MOON sprinted clear and moved inside, kicked away on the far turn, showed the way two three wide entering the stretch, came under threat from PUTT FOR DOUGH and clung to a narrow lead at the sixteenth pole, then yielded to the top pair late and was able to save third. OLE SILVER traveled two wide between rivals around the first turn, was ridden along three then two wide on the far turn, found the rail in the lane and missed third. LADY GOOD TROUBLE sat well off the pace on the inside, drew closer leaving the backstretch, hugged the rail through the far turn, came out in upper stretch and failed to menace. GRAY FROST pursued from the three path in range early on, was closest in pursuit up the backstretch, lost ground two to three wide around the second bend and faded in lane. SWEET HELLO was off slow begin, trailed a bit off the rail on the clubhouse turn, went two wide into the second bend, entered the lane four wide and was never a factor. DALLAS ALICE was forwardly placed in the early going two wide between rivals, lost ground in the middle stages, exited the backstretch in the three path, moved out around the far turn to come six wide into the lane and had little left for the drive. VIOLET STORM bobbled leaving the gate, chased three deep then four wide on the clubhouse turn, dropped back to last with three furlongs remaining, remained wide to the stretch, eased in the lane and walked off.
