Footnotes
CITIZEN BULL cleared quickly and crossed over, controlled the pace through the early going, drew away under light coaxing on the far turn, opened up under hand urging and taps from a downturned crop to the sixteenth pole and coasted late. SMOOTH CRUISEIN raced up close to the outside of CITIZEN BULL to the three-eighths pole, came under a ride when starting to lose ground to that rival, asked right-handed entering the lane and was kept busy for a clear second. GAMING ran up on the heels of CITIZEN BULL and had to steady a bit into the first turn, climbed along chasing behind the leader on the inside, started to weaken on the far turn and was guided off the fence, then tired in the stretch run.
