Footnotes
WIKI KANE dueled from inside, cleared with three furlongs remaining, asked right-handed into the lane, drifted out at the sixteenth pole and padded the lead to the wire. EYE OF THE SMILEY raced up close on the inside, chased a bit off the rail into the lane, could not make any headway on the winner down the stretch and stayed on to the best the rest. FLASH OF LIGHTNING brushed leaving the gate, shifted ground racing greenly shortly after, steered to the inside raced well off the pace, moved off the fence in the lane, showed late run and got up for third. BALAZA sat off the pace in the early going, went two to three wide on the turn, swung out into the lane, shifted inward at the eighth pole and improved position. DEBBIES GETTINGHOT tracked from inside, advanced under a ride on the turn, moved out in upper stretch and failed to rally from there. ROSTRON bumped from outside at the start, coaxed along chasing off the inside, took the turn two wide and failed to respond. CELTIC RYTHEM brushed leaving the gate, settled between rivals up the backstretch, moved inside for the turn, cornered nicely into the lane and weakened. JOEY WHERE'D IT GO tracked three deep out of range, weakened three to four wide around the bend, came in upper stretch and had little left for the stretch. PEPPER SHAKER dueled from outside to the turn, dropped back around the bend and retreated through the lane. THE GREAT G broke in and bumped, lagged behind early and was always outrun.
