Footnotes
NOBEL GARY chased widest up the backstretch, took aim five wide turning for home, drew alongside the leader with a furlong remaining, took over midstretch and held HONOR THE CAT at bay in the late. HONOR THE CAT got bumped from outside then crowded shortly after in the beginning, trailed on the inside up the backstretch, angled five wide around the turn, moved out widest in the lane, closed well but failed to get by the winner in the end. FAR OVER LOADED raced up close on the inside, challenged at the seven-sixteenths pole, dueled and took over around the bend, cleared briefly at the top of the stretch, lost command midstretch and flattened to third. PROBLEM SOLVER sat off the pace on the inside, tipped outside a pair of rivals on the turn, moved back in a bit in upper stretch, summoned a mild rally and rounded out the superfecta. MONEY MITCH broke a bit slow then lost his path, raced near the back two wide into the turn, trailed to the quarter pole, passed a rival three wide approaching the stretch, angled in and also finished with a mild rally. MAGATON MAN shifted in leaving the gate, sat well off the pace up the backstretch, traveled along the inside then in the two path, found the rail again in upper stretch and improved position. IRISH WHISKEY broke a step slow then had his path taken, rushed up between rivals to a forward position, took the turn three then four wide and flattened out. CHIEF RENEGADE sprinted to the front, took pressure from inside exiting the backstretch, lost command dueling around the turn at the quarter pole, came three wide into the lane, yielded in upper stretch and weakened. LOCALLYWORLDFAMOUS chased off the rail to the turn, went three to four wide into the lane and weakened. BOOMING BERNARDO chased inside rivals to the turn, lost ground around the bend and tired. BETHEGUYNOTTHATGUY broke in and bumped, chased two wide into the turn, dropped back while moving out to the four path around the bend and had little left for the drive.
