LITTLE OPAL set the pace under pressure from NINIA to the outside, disposed of that rival around the bend, came off the rail and roused at the top of the lane, then remained well clear under a drive to the wire. YOUNG LOVE got shuffled behind LONG MAYSHE REIGN while traveling along the rail early, saved ground through the turn, tipped out into the stretch, gained second but could not threaten the winner. COMEBACK GIRL sat off the pace in the early going, raced between foes leaving the backstretch, took the turn two wide, angled out for the stretch and got up for third. TIGER OF THE SEA followed in range three deep then two wide leaving the backstretch, could not produce a bid in the furlong grounds and got edged for third. NINIA pressed the pace from outside, chased two wide around the turn and flattened in the late stages. LEGAL FICTION unhurried in the beginning, saved ground from inside, steered out in the lane and failed to menace. SWEET GAL OF MINE lacked early quickness, entered the turn three deep off the fence, got floated out into the lane and weakened. LONG MAYSHE REIGN showed early speed then ceded command to the top pair, took a stalking position on the inside, ridden along leaving the bend and weakened.
