Footnotes
CAGEY BURGLAR antsy in the gate, chased three wide early, bid three deep on the backstretch, took over late on the far turn, shifted out in upper stretch and dug in gamely to prevail. TAP AND GO took control from inside, pressured by a pair of rivals on the backstretch, maintained a short lead through the far turn, lost command turning for home, fought back into deep stretch and held second. TOPPERS AT SEASIDE was closest in pursuit from the two path around the first turn, moved up to press the pace from between rivals in the middle stages, battled on between foes through the far turn, fought into the last sixteenth and got edged for the place honors. CANO FOR THE WIN tracked five wide into the first turn then moved in a few paths, remained off the fence to the far turn, spun four wide into the lane, finished willingly from outside but lacked the needed late punch. WAR SWIFT tucked inside at the back, advanced up the backstretch, drew closer still saving ground on the far turn, altered out a bit from behind a rival midstretch and flattened out. SUPREME COAST coaxed from the gate, went three then two wide on the first turn turn, coaxed along three deep then outside a rival on the backstretch, angled in on the far turn and lacked a rally. LOOKIN FOR CURLY chased four then three wide at the back early, remained wide through the far turn, came in upper stretch and had little left for the drive. LIGHT DRAGOON antsy in the gate, settled two wide then found the rail, chased between or off the rail on the backstretch, found the rail again on the far turn, dropped back around the bend, raced off the rail into the lane and had little left for the stretch run.
