Footnotes
CASE HIT settled outside a rival, gained two wide on the turn before splitting foes at the quarter pole, tipped out at the top of the lane, challenged outside the top pair in the final furlong and proved best in the end. ANDTHEOMOFTHEBRAVE showed the way under pressure from outer rivals early, dueled around the bend, inched ahead at the top of the lane, resisted into deep stretch and yielded grudgingly late. GLORIOUS LIFE bobbled a bit leaving the gate but still came away well, prompted the pace between runners up the backstretch, dueled around the bend, dug in through the lane but was outfinished by the top pair late. CHECK'S ON THE WAY was off slow to begin, trailed under coaxing early, passed rivals two the three wide on the turn, tipped out further and showed late run to earn a minor award. FRANK BULLITT tracked outside a rival, angled to the rail once clear of that runner on the turn, tipped out and roused in upper stretch, angled back inside the last sixteenth and failed to rally. FAR WESTERN tracked from inside, lost ground on the turn and lacked further response. POTITO pressed three deep to the turn, lost touch with the top pair at the five-sixteenths pole, chased three deep into the lane and weakened. PRINCE PRANCEALOT sat off the pace on the inside, trailed two wide into the turn and was never a facdtor.
