JAGUAR JON brushed with outer rival leaving the gate, followed in range two then three wide to the stretch, drew alongside JETOVATOR at the sixteenth pole, took over late and was able to hold. OWL tracked three deep, fell out of range in the four path entering the turn, angled down to the two path, steered back out into the stretch, unleashed a rally from outside, got by JETOVATOR for second but ran out of ground to nail the winner. JETOVATOR vied three deep up the backstretch and around the turn, put a head in front with a furlong remaining, battled into deep stretch and got outkicked by the top pair. JACK FISH stalked the top trio from inside, bid between rivals at the eighth pole, finished gamely to the wire but came up just short in the end. KING'S RIDE broke in and bumped, laid off the pace on the inside, coaxed along around the turn, came off the fence in upper stretch, rallied between rivals but got put in tight and checked late. COURTSIDE ACTION sat off the pace in the opening stages, exited the backstretch in the three path then quickly moved to the two path, angled widest in the lane, produced a mild rally but needed to find more. PIPER'S CAUSEWAY battled between rivals for command to the eighth pole, chased into the last sixteenth and flattened out. INFINITE SPIRIT got pinballed leaving the gate, raced two wide leaving the backstretch, angled to the rail around the bend and could not produce a bid. BALLYVAUGHAN GIG vied inside a pair of rivals for the early lead, carried a short advantage over outer pair on the turn, lost command dueling into the final furlong and weakened in the last sixteenth. SPEED OF ELON lacked early speed, saved ground through the turn and could not make an impact.
